Where to level? Here to level!

Here’s a list with zones and level recommendations for Alliance and Horde players that I wrote for someone and thought I’d add it here aswell. (Adding the Horde zones at this time, although, the zones are pretty much the same for both factions..) If you would happen to find anything in this list that you’d like to change / add, please don’t be afraid of leaving a comment and I’ll see what I can do.Also note that this isn’t the level requirements. This is just the levels that I prefer to have reached before visiting the various zones.

Hint: For fastest leveling I suggest you take all the quests you see and then do most of them all at once. And to make it go even faster, I suggest you to download these three addons.

-Lightheaded (This will allow you to read the comments available for the selected quest at http://wowhead.com/ . You will be able to find the coords for whatever you need to do and if necessary, they might tell you how to complete it aswell. Click on the blue marked Coords in the comment to activate an arrow on your screen that will point you in the right direction.)

-Cartographer (This is a worldmap with more customisable options, like coords for example.)

-Bayi’s Extended Quest Log (This will make the quest window larger and make it possible for you to see pretty much all quests at once. So you don’t have to scroll up and down. It will also allow you to drag the quest tracker around on the screen, placing it wherever you want to.)

You can find all of those here:
http://files.wowace.com/
Except for Lightheaded that is available here: http://www.wowinterface.com/downloads/info7017-LightHeaded.html

(Note that the Bayi’s Extended Quest Log is called ‘beql’ here!)

How to install addons:
To install an addon, simply download the chosen addon you want. Extract the files to a folder on your desktop. Open your WoW Folder -> Interface -> AddOns. This is the map where your addons should be. If you can’t find the Interface or AddOn folder, you simply create one and put the addon in it. Now start up WoW and log in. At the character screen you will see a button in the lower left corner called “AddOns”. Click there and check if your addon is in the list. If there’s a text next to the addon saying “Out of date”, check the box in the upper right corner that says “Load out of date AddOns”.
